My name is Sue. I worked for a Childcare Center before I started my own in home Family Childcare. During the four years that I worked at the center I was a volunteer, attended ARC, completed over 18 ECE units, became Head Teacher and went on to become the Director. I opened the doors to my home and Sue's Happy Days Pre-School~ Infant and Childcare back in 1981 in order to be home with my now 36 year old daughter. My goal, to start, was to help other single women, like myself at the time. Not much has changed through the years except that I have since married. I have been married 22 years, and I am a proud mother and grandmother. Nightly, I attend college off and on to enhance my Professionalism and keep updated on the new programs for children of all ages. Known as Ms. Sue I am a State Certified Preschool Teacher and hold Teaching Permit. I have over 68 units of Early Childhood Education. I have been a licensed childcare provider for 30 years. I have a Large License for 14 children. We care for Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers, School Age and Special Needs Children.

Presently at my childcare, my goal is to combine old school values with modern day teachings. I want to teach children the importance of respect and values. If I can help a handful of children just imagine the possibilities. In my care children take part in Preschool, After School, Summer School, and Hands on Interaction, Social Development, Enrichment in learning and more. When my daughter was growing up I was room mom and PTG President of a local Elementary School, I was a Teacher Aid for different class rooms.
